I am on a journey. Some have called it the road to recovery. I’ve been on this road for several years and thanks to God’s grace and his forgiveness I am healing from an addiction that almost caused me to lose everything. But when God breaks you and you realize that you need to start growing up … even at the age of 50 something…the pain is not wasted. My favorite author, Dan Allender, says “God doesn’t want you to waste your pain.” Now I’m able through lay counseling and blogging and speaking to men and, along with my wife, to couples, to bring the hope and healing we have found. Come on along and join in on this road to recovery.
